Leo born 11/4/2020, is a neutered male Cockapoo. Very friendly with everyone and has lived with another dog. He is quite full on and needs to learn some boundaries but his owner has been taken very ill and wants to ensure that he has a loving new forever home. We are looking for a foster placement for him, but it could be with a view to adoption in the longer term. He can be a bit guarded with resources such as food, toys and the sofa. However, he is quick to learn that he must stay on the floor and he should be fed in a quiet place. He is good with children and we would like these to be at least 8 years or more given his slight issues around food and furniture. Leo is rather overweight and needs to have a home where he can get fit and enjoy regular exercise. HIs owner has not been able to do this due to illness. Leo can be vocal when he hears the door bell for instance, but soon stops when you come into the house. He is clean in the house and non-destructive but we do not know how long he can be left as his previous owner was home all of the time. Leo is a loving boy who is feeling somewhat lost at the minute having lost the only home he has known for 5 years. If you think you can offer Leo a foster /adoptive home then please get in touch.
