PAWS are busy working on a  project to help cats in our community.  

Following a generous £5k legacy donation, we are going to be in a position to put together a Spay/Neuter and Microchipping programme for cats whose owners may be struggling with vet costs for the surgery. This is something that we have wanted to do for a long while as there are simply too many kittens being born that do not have homes and can find themselves homeless on the streets or if they get lucky, end up in rescue. We will need proof of ID, £30 donation towards chip & neuter/spay, and some kind of proof that owner income is not enough to pay for the procedure. This may be proof of benefits or low income. We will operate on a first come - first served basis. Only Valentines Vets are taking part in this and owners will need to arrange transport to and from the surgery.
