Thank you Todmorden Harriers
We would like to say a big thank you to the Todmorden Harriers, for choosing us as their charity for their recent Hot Toddy Walk, and raising £400 for us, it really is much appreciated.

Covid update from Trustees:
IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO ADOPT FROM PAWS DURING THE NEW LOCKDOWN PERIOD 5TH NOVEMBER TO 2ND DECEMBER.
You will be aware that the Government has announced a 4 week lockdown until 2nd December.
Pennine Animal Welfare Trust is working within the current DEFRA Guidance provided to rescue charities. This enables us to continue to safely home animals and take in those who are in urgent need of our care
Our homing procedurs during the lockdown period will therefore be:
- Rehoming will continue however this will be on a delivery basis only.
- Animals should be delivered to their new homes as a default, however if this absolutely cannot be done and it is considered reasonably necessary for welfare reasons, the dog can be collected from the centre by the new owner but they will need to abide by additional conditions:
- By appointment only
- Social distancing and other safety precautions must apply.
Owners may only be permitted to come to the centre to relinquish an animal in emergencies or when it is considered to be in the best interest of the animal's welfare. All relinquishments on site must be carried out in a Covid-secure manner.
Social distancing and safe handling protocols must be followed both when taking in animals and when giving them to their new owner.
Please note we will continue to accept PAWS animal returns where there is a safety or welfare concern.
Our staff and volunteers will be putting into practice the 'Hands, Face, Space' measures when meeting the public to ensure we keep each other safe during this period.
We thank you for your patience and support through this challenging period.
